First Edition. Hardcover. Condition: very good+. Red paper dustjacket with mylar cover, cream cloth binding with beautiful black stamped lettering and illustration on front. Includes ten full plate beautiful ink illustrations by the author as well as over a hundred smaller illustrations scattered throughout the text. Very small blue mark near the outer edge of front cover. Incredibly slight bump on edge of spine. Small dots/markings on inside of lower cover. Otherwise boards and spine are in great condition. Small nick/rip on the top left corner of front cover. Flattened crease on top right corner of front cover. Autobiography by American painter and illustrator Rockwell Kent that reveals his experiences living a rural life in the Adirondacks as well as some of his (controversial) left leaning politics.
