Hardcover, Very Good. First American Edition, stated. Dustjacket is intact but a shambles of bumps, rubs, small tears and water damage. See photo. (Don't read in the bathtub!) Text box is solid and unmarked except for bump on upper front board and some browning. To call this a classic is to undersell it. Camus is a Nobel Prize winner, in the pantheon. A TikTok recommendation has recently brought this novel back to an active life.
