Professionally repaired as to edges at head and tail of spine and new end-papers.  Dark tan pictorial cloth covered boards, elaborately stamped in brown and gilt on front panel and spine. Back panel has a brown stamped lasso. Beveled board edges. All outside page edges are gilt. Board edges are scuffed. Some wear on edges of binding.  Pages are clean and only moderately browned, no foxing. Text block is snug.  Additional photos available upon request. Teddy Roosevelt's bold personality is well-represented by both the book and its content.
