Number 52 of only 160 numbered copies issued.  Original pale blue boards, the upper board with illustrated label. Visible wear to points. Binding is tight. Board edges lightly toned. Small discoloration on back. The frontispiece, vignette title page, and head- and tail-piece by John Guthrie, all printed in blue. Text block is clean and bright. Former owners unobtrusive signature on FEP.  Laurence is A.E. Housman's younger brother and an activist in women's suffrage.
